When things are going well, it’s easy to attribute that to God. But, when tribulations arise? Not so much!
It is curious that He is called, “The God Who likes to hide Himself.” Is this where the game of ‘Hide and Seek’ originated? God wants us to seek hard after Him, to cling to Him at all times. He cherishes us!
When calamities arise, God is still on the Throne of Heaven. Yeshua (Jesus) is still there with Him, advocating on our behalf. And the Holy Spirit is still present here, with/ in us, as Comforter, Intercessor, Teacher, Friend.
“Behold, I go forward, but He is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive Him: On the left hand, where He doth work, but I cannot behold Him: He hideth Himself on the right hand, that I cannot see Him: But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” (Job 23:8-10 KJV)
