Before Yeshua, Gentiles were godless people, or worshipped false gods, which are no gods.
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14 KJV)
But now, true Christian believers worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, whose Son, Yeshua Ha’ Meshiach’s sacrificial death on the cross for the sins of all mankind, coincided with the curtain of separation in the Temple being rent, giving us access to the Father, by imputing the righteousness of G-d, through His Son, to us all. His perfect Blood satisfied the requirements of the Law (which man CANNOT do). By faith in this perfect sacrifice, confessing that we are sinners deserving of condemnation, we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, the very Presence of G-d within us, Jew & Gentile alike (just as both Isaac and Ishmael received a blessing from Father Abraham), enabling us to rightly discern the Word of Truth, and live lives that are truly pleasing, and of service to G-d.
“Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (Isaiah 1:18 KJV)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 KJV)
