Fluoride Officially Classified as a Neurotoxin by Medical Journal (reprint)

IMG_3673.PNGWith the advent of social media and an expanding digital universe, product awareness is at an all-time high, yet few substances have been collecting as much attention as Fluoride.

The downside to the heightened awareness is that there is a lot of misinformation swirling around the bigger topics like fluoride and it’s use in drinking water. Independent research is often written off or ignored, because it doesn’t meet the same standards that most experts require.

That sentiment is what makes the classification by the Lancet, the oldest and best known peer-reviewed medical journal, of fluoride as a neurotoxin so ground breaking. In a recent publication The Lancet added 6 additional substances to it’s classifications of neurotoxicants, and fluoride made the list. The publication abstracts reads as follows:

“Neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia and other cognitive impairments, affect millions of children worldwide, and some diagnoses seem to be increasing in frequency. Industrial chemicals that injure the developing brain are among the known causes for this rise in prevalence. In 2006, we did a systematic review and identified five industrial chemicals as developmental neurotoxicants: lead, methyl mercury (common in vaccines), polychlorinated biphenyls, arsenic and toluene. Since 2006, epidemiological studies have documented six additional developmental neurotoxicants – manganese, fluoride, chlorpyrifos, dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane, tetrachloroethylene, and the polybrominated dihenyl ethers. We postulate that even more neurotoxicants remain undiscovered.

To control the pandemic of developmental neurotoxicity, we propose a global prevention strategy.

Untested chemicals should not be presumed to be safe to brain development, and chemicals in existing use and all new chemicals must therefore be tested for developmental neurotoxicity. To coordinate these efforts and to accelerate translation of science into prevention, we propose the urgent formation of a new international clearinghouse” (1)

The publication also cites the Harvard Medical School of Public Health, whose research found links between fluoridated water, ADHD and mental disorders. You can read more about that here.

Dr. Dean Burk, the former Chief Chemist at the National Cancer Institute of Healt and founder of Biotin said this about fluoride:

In point of fact, fluoride causes more human cancer deaths than any other chemical.

When you have power you don’t have to tell the truth. That’s a rule that’s been working in this world for generations. There are a great many people who don’t tell the truth when they are in power in administrative positions. Fluoride amounts to public murder on a grand scale. It is some of the most conclusive scientific and biological evidence that I have come across in my 50 years in the field of cancer research.”

This is only one of the latest publications to come out against the usage of fluoride, specifically in drinking water. It is becoming more and more common knowledge that fluoride in drinking water is harmful, which is why communities all over the world are ending the fluoridation of drinking water.
