Clutter Monster Diaries, Part 3

Here is our joint progress for Day 3.
My daughter did the corner counter and the back hall.

20140525-024617-9977401.jpgI can feel some of my depression lifting. Teamwork has made all the difference. That, and tackling only a small sub-area at a time. Picking an area that will give the most dramatic effect with the least amount of effort may be cheating, but it also helps with motivation. Taking pictures seems to be what finally translated my desires into reality. And as the “Clutter Monster” shrinks in size, my energy and resolve grow! I look forward to the next phase of our attack!

  1. Love this! Both my hubby and I are collectors and we live in a lovely house that you can’t see because it is not organized and cluttered! Great motivation for me this weekend! Thanks!

      1. Sounds amazing! I think that is my problem is that I look at the mess as a whole vs. Just working on a specific spot at a time. Good advice.

      2. Taking the pictures is what seemed to have turned the tasks into concrete realities to be accomplished.
